Our story
Baked by Mona
CMNY Cakes is Mona's studio. She has been baking and decorating for as long as she can remember, and turned that lifelong passion into a business, making wedding cakes and desserts in the early 2000s and running a full-time cake operation with a team of decorators by 2008.
Since then she has designed and hand-finished cakes for thousands of New York celebrations, from first birthdays and christenings to Sweet 16s and weddings. Her work is known for clean, precise fondant and fully sculpted 3D designs.
Every cake is custom. Mona does not work from a catalog. She starts with your idea, your colors, and your event, and builds something made only for you.
